Locals Paul and Deirdre Jennings, the owners of Jennings Computers in Gain Lane (established in 1979) bought the newly named Highfield, on Highfield Road in Idle (the former Balloon & Basket and Sporting Lodge Inn and Hotel) just before Christmas 2009.
